This tab gathers the irreversible actions on your account, under the heading Danger zone.
Deleting the account
The Delete action permanently removes your account and all your personal data.
This action cannot be undone. Deleting the account means losing your invoices, quotes, clients and payment history. No restoration is possible.
Before you delete
If losing everything is not your goal, consider these alternatives:
- You are leaving the team but the company continues: ask an administrator to remove your access from the Team tab, rather than deleting the account.
- You need to keep your accounting documents: export your documents before any deletion. The legal obligations to retain invoices still apply after the account is closed.
- You are pausing your activity temporarily: turning off your payment methods and your notifications is usually enough.
In Belgium, invoices and supporting documents must be kept for several years. Make sure you have retrieved your documents before deleting your account.
