Two-level purchase approval
Purchase approval
This tab lets you require a second approver for purchases whose amount goes over a threshold you set.
Enabling two-level approval
The Enable two-level approval switch is off by default: in that case one approver is enough, whatever the purchase amount.
Once the option is on, you configure the threshold above which a second approval becomes mandatory.
What does not change
The first level stays as it was: any user allowed to approve purchases can give the first approval. Two-level approval adds a step, it does not restrict the first one.
Approval permissions depend on each member's role. See the Team tab to assign roles and create custom ones.
Tracking the purchases themselves happens from the Purchases menu.
