Key Features
Customisation
You can customise how your invoices look with your logo and your colours, to reinforce your brand.
Recurrence
For regular clients, set up recurring invoices that are generated and sent automatically at the frequency you choose.
Payment tracking
YouInv follows the status of your invoices automatically (Draft, Validated, Sent, Paid). Connect your bank account for automatic reconciliation.
Sending over Peppol
YouInv's main advantage is its native Peppol integration. When you send an invoice to another user of the Peppol network, it is delivered instantly and securely, straight into their accounting software.
No emails, no PDFs — it is all automated.
Behaviour depending on the company account
How the Peppol option behaves in the invoice form depends on how your company is configured and on the client you selected.
Company connected to Peppol
If your company is registered and connected to the Peppol network (the connection is established from the Peppol configuration window, reached through the Peppol button in the top bar):
- The Peppol checkbox is enabled by default when you create a new invoice, as soon as an eligible client is selected.
- The client's eligibility is checked automatically against the Peppol directory, using their company number (CBE/VAT).
- If the client is eligible, clicking Send invoice delivers it electronically over Peppol, with no email generated and no PDF to send by hand.
- The Delivery receipt option stays available, to confirm technical delivery to the recipient's accounting system.
- The Payment link option can also be kept, to make it easier for the client to pay.
Client not eligible for Peppol
If the selected client is not registered on the Peppol network:
- The Peppol checkbox is disabled automatically and greyed out.
- The invoice is sent by ordinary email, with the PDF attached.
- You can check a client's Peppol eligibility directly from their record in the Clients section.
Company not connected to Peppol
If your company is not connected yet to the Peppol network:
- The Peppol checkbox is disabled by default on every new invoice.
- A message invites you to complete your configuration through the Peppol button in the top bar.
- Until that configuration is finished, invoices are sent by email only.
Tip: to automate Peppol delivery entirely, as soon as an invoice is validated, turn on the Automatic invoicing option in the advanced Peppol configuration. See the Peppol page for the detail.
