Journals and General Ledger

Beyond document handling, YouInv gives you the classic accounting views for checking that the accounts hold together.

Journal

The Journal view shows the accounting entries chronologically, sorted by journal code (Sales, Purchases, Financial, Miscellaneous). It is the right tool for:

• Checking that documents are sequential.
• Reviewing the allocation dates.
• Making sure there are no gaps in the numbering.

General ledger

The General ledger offers a view by account.

• Browse the file's chart of accounts.
• For each account (e.g. 700000 Sales, 400000 Clients), see the detail of the movements (debit/credit) and the running balance.
• Click a line to go back to the original supporting document.

These views can be exported (PDF, Excel) for your review files or for the annual archiving.
